The original event rules.

A summary of the rules displayed alongside the 2022 event information, preserved for historical context.

Historical record

This page describes the former event. Running for Good Ultra is now an independent publication and does not organise or take entries for that race.

How the event was described

The rules named Ahansal Events as organiser and described a seven-day stage race around Zagora, Morocco, for participants aged 18 or over. They required passing checkpoints and carrying mandatory equipment during each stage.

The document specified a 15-hour limit per stage, with further checkpoint cutoffs, and described ranking runners by their accumulated stage times.

Course, camp and environmental rules

Participants were asked to follow the marked route, respect local people, avoid littering and leave natural features undisturbed. The rules described equipment checks, withdrawal procedures and the authority of the event’s medical team.

Reading the rules in context

These are archived conditions, not rules for an event currently operated by this publication. Some details differed between the old pages: the rules described full catering, while the registration page excluded race lunches. We have preserved that distinction rather than resolving it by assumption.
